A Day in the Life....
Some days life as an expat is crazy...
Today was one of those days where pretty much nothing goes right. Started last night. Josh was trying to leave for the airport. I'm making dinner and the dryer is going. Blew a fuse. But we don't know where the fuse box is...after some google translate we found it and then it continues to happen several more times.
This morning making eggs. Mid cooking, the fire on the gas stove turns off. No reason for it. Find out later you have to buy gas like a propane tank for a grill. But that wasn't done before we got here. There are gates to enter our house but only half of gate opens so you can just barely squeeze one car through. I’m talking fold your mirrors in and close your eyes hope you don’t take off all the paint tight squeeze.
Road trip to school, water main break detour takes 35 extra min because you're driving on a mountain and every one and their brother are trying to go that way too.
Gas got fixed. Gate got fixed. Road got fixed. Walked several miles today just exploring with Z and L while Jackson was at a play date.
Rigged up some solution because this random box over our window is opening and closing in the wind and it's keeping us up at night.
