Visitors!

It's always great to have visitors, it's especially great when it's cousins!! The kids were so excited to have Adam, Rachel, Ellie, Charlie and Wyatt come to visit us in Italy!! They had a long list of places to see while they were there but we got to tagalong on a few.

The first place we went with them was to Ravenna.  They got to see where uncle Josh works, visit the amazing churches with the famous mosaics in Ravenna, and see the ocean.  The weather was perfect so the kids even got their feet wet.  Pretty lucky for the end of March!

Our next adventure was San Marino.  San Marino is on the coast of Italy and is actually it's own country.  You can get your passport stamped there, if you want to pay the price :).  We enjoyed a hike to the top and explored around.  The view was awesome!! Then we rested with a little Italian lunch. Pizza of course!

Next, we were off to Pisa, just a short hour drive from our house.  A first for us all.  It was another beautiful, sunny day.  We had a nice lunch outside the towers and Jackson, Charlie, and the moms got to make our way up to the top of Pisa.  It was a neat experience, I'm so glad we got to do that with our boys!  These kids get to have some pretty amazing memories to look back on when they grow up!

After that we spent some time exploring around Bologna, Rachel and I hiked up the longest Portico in the world to San Luca, we had more pizza, and the Minnesota Fausch Family explored around other places in Italy.  We had a great time with them, the cousins got along so well, and I'm so thankful for the memories made!
